I've seen a lot of new forums go for that style, essentially shoving everything into one forum. I don't much like that either, it's so crowded and things just end up getting lost so you just get the same topics over and over. And it's harder to use them as a resource, i still look at the old Maxcoderz and United TI forums for old topics about certain asm stuff from time to time. Maybe i'm just not used to them or don't know how to use them though.
